The government will compensate interest rates for the construction of livestock complexes

This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman, writes "UNN". He added that the government planned to create conditions for increasing the number of cattle and pigs.

 

We need more meat in the country. We will compensate from these 2.3 billion UAH the interest rate on the construction of new livestock complexes in the country. New farms, new livestock complexes, new dairy complexes. This will allow us to saturate the Ukrainian market with quality meat, quality milk, increase the number of animals and this will allow us to reduce domestic prices for these products, Volodymyr Hroisman has said.

 

It bears reminding that livestock and horticulture will be in the priority of state support in 2018. It is planned to finance livestock production in several stages. First, part of the funds will go to support the growth of livestock, the purchase of young cattle and small cattle. Secondly, the funds will be invested in the construction of livestock farms. Thirdly, a significant part of the funds will go to purchase processing equipment - a partial compensation of its cost.
