The Cabinet of Ministers proposes the Verkhovna Rada to increase funding for animal disease control sixfold - from 113.657 million UAH to 687.195 million UAH from the general fund in 2018 compared to 2017.
"Ukrainian News" writes this in accordance with the bill on the state budget for 2018.
In general, the financing of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection is planned to be increased by 1,123 billion UAH - up to 3.023 billion UAH, 2.531 billion UAH of which are taken from the general budget fund.
In particular, 1.616 billion UAH will be directed to management and management in the field of food safety and consumer protection, 594.7 million UAH for organizing and regulating the activities of institutions in the system of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, for conducting laboratory tests, measurements, research and expertise in the exercise of state control (supervision) - 124.7 million UAH.
It bears reminding that the draft law on the state budget for 2018 provides for the allocation of funds for the establishment next year of the Export Credit Agency (ECA), which at the initial stage will provide insurance and reinsurance services.
